About RŌG Health

RŌG Health helps medical device leaders see where their commercial story breaks—and decide what to do next—before time, capital, and credibility are on the line.

Go RŌG

Our role

We operate upstream of execution—before go-to-market spend, sales hiring, partnerships, or fundraising—at the moments when a wrong decision is most expensive and hardest to reverse.

We're brought in when leadership needs clarity, alignment, and a defensible next step—not another opinion.

How we work

Our work is structured, time-bound, and built to support real decisions.

  • We diagnose before we prescribe.
  • We prioritize judgment over volume.
  • We surface what's uncomfortable early.
  • We recommend action, delay, or restraint—based on readiness, not optimism.

If the honest answer is "not yet," we say so. That's the point.

What we believe

Most medical device innovations don't fail because the technology doesn't work. They stall—or destroy value—because commercial decisions are made out of sequence.

Clarity, applied early, reduces risk, preserves capital, and produces better outcomes downstream.

The most dangerous moment isn't failure.

It's the wrong thing.

The diagnostics

We examine the same question—commercial readiness—from three different vantages. Each stands on its own.

Inside Read — OCRA.

A self-authored workbook that gets your own commercial thinking out of your head and onto paper.

Outside Read — CLIF.

A fast, external diagnostic that finds where your commercial story breaks before a buyer or investor does.

Who's behind this

RŌG Health was founded by Ryan Roghaar.

Before RŌG Health, Ryan spent more than 20 years running R2, a marketing, design, and technology firm working across B2B and B2C for organizations like Aetna, IBM, Carhartt, Barclays, Euler Hermes, and Scientia Vascular—the last of which was acquired by Medtronic for more than $500 million.

RŌG Health is the deliberate pivot of that practice into medical device and medtech—pointing two decades of commercial work at the industry that needs it most, where a single mis-sequenced decision can cost more than the diagnostic that would have caught it.

The frameworks behind RŌG Health weren't invented in the abstract. They're built on 20+ years of pressure-testing commercial stories across some of the largest companies in the world, distilled down to one question that decides whether effort turns into revenue: is the company actually ready, and if not, what has to be true first?

Begin with clarity.

Start with a conversation. End with a clear, defensible next step.
